Sin trespassed Your holy standards;

Troops of evil were deployed,

Twisting truth and righteous judgment

Till all values are destroyed.

Shunning and defying Jesus,

Mankind chooses not to hear.

Every day the troubles deepen—

Chaos, sorrow, death, and fear.

As the world heads for destruction,

We cry out for mercy, Lord!

You have promised full deliverance,

So we’ll cling to Your true Word.

All creation groans together;

We are waiting every hour.

Come reclaim us with Your army;

Yours the justice! Yours the pow’r!

Let Your kingdom reign forever!

Hasten sin’s eternal end!

How long, Lord, till You deliver?
